TIME TO SHOW MY LIGHT

I am not a religious zealot. Never have been and never might be.

I have, however, read the bible more extensively than most. I think it's a great and interesting book of wisdom.

With all the things that have been going through my mind lately, I have been reminded of a  few verses in the bible that I think are fantastic:



"Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works" - Matthew 5:14-16



Whatever your religious beliefs, I think that this is some brilliant life advice. I think I have been hiding my 'light' for a while now. I don't think it's intentional and I can't really explain what I even mean. I just think that I have been hiding myself away a bit. Fortunately this is changing lately with a bit of an awakening that I have been feeling. So hopefully soon I will be giving light to all in my life…
